# Human Computer Interaction

> Computer systems are designed by and for people; we create computer systems to solve problems, work for us, and enhance our lives, societies and our world. Human-computer interaction is the interdisciplinary research field concerned with how people can and do use computers, how computer systems can be better designed for interaction with people, and what role computer systems can play in society, the environment, social movements, and beyond.
